sanfran wildlife.

San Francisco was incredible! I particularly liked the alembic bar. The bartender we dealt with was great, and was gifted with a shaker. The toronado bar had a great selection of beers etc. But lacked polite staff. The exception being the man with dog. Good on you! for not being an uptight twat, like the trendy douche bartender, who seemed to believe he was creating ale out of water pfffffffft.

trains,metrolinks, and buses.

Train travel(Amtrak anyway) was a bit bumpy. I did have the opportunity to see alot of wildlife. Here is a partial list; a fox, a whale, snowy egrets, herons, deer.

poor planning throws wrench in the gears

I misread an article about kasabian performing in sanfran on the 17th. They are going to be in L.A. by then. Day late or dollar short strikes again!

ayrhed takes the train.

In the past few years, I have had a growing curiousity about train travel in the United States of America. My interest was piqued by movies from the 1930’s and 1940’s. Unfortunately, they don’t have the “lounge” cars on Amtrak anymore. But I am going to take a short jaunt to find out if I dig train travel. L.A. to San Francisco to meet my younger brother. I hope to relax and enjoy the scenery, and begin to reprogram myself away from popular “instant gratification” air travel. Afterall..”Life is a journey, Not a destination…”

Taking a bash.

so. I’m finally taking a bash at blogging. As I’m inept with the Internet and out of practice writing in general, This May suck a bit at first .
